Round with the Founder – Sky Creek Ranch (Keller, TX)
Sky Creek Ranch was just the right mix of challenge and playability. The layout keeps you honest, tight enough to demand focus, but fair enough to enjoy it. Greens rolled true, and there were a few holes that really made you think off the tee especially from the tips.
Only knock? That "shared" fairway coming into 18 felt a little crowded, especially for the serial slicers. But overall, solid track with great conditioning.
Would I go back? Absolutely. Just keep your head on a swivel coming up the final hole though.
