My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.
2 Corinthians 12:9
Reflection:
There are days when the thought creeps in: I’m not enough. Not strong enough. Not good enough. Not disciplined enough. Not faithful enough. But that voice doesn’t come from God. Scripture never asks you to be enough on your own, only to trust the One who is.
We often measure ourselves by output, progress, or comparison. But God measures by our surrender. When you bring your weakness to Him, you’re not disqualified. The places you feel insufficient are often the exact places God wants to show His strength.
Try this today:
• Name the lie: “I’m not enough.”
• Replace it with truth: “In Christ, I lack nothing I need for today.”
• Stop comparing: someone else’s calling doesn’t define your worth.
Why it matters:
When you stop trying to be enough, you finally make room for God and His plan for your life.
Prayer for the week:
Lord, when I feel insufficient, remind me that You are sufficient. Help me rest in Your grace and walk in confidence today, not because of who I am, but because of who You are. Amen.
