“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.”
John 14:15
Reflection:
God’s commandments were never meant to restrict your life, they were designed to protect it. Obedience isn’t about rules for the sake of control; it’s about trust in the One who knows what leads to life. We often see commands as limits.
Following God’s commandments is a response to love, not a requirement to earn it. We don’t obey to be accepted, we obey because we already are. When we walk in God’s ways, we align our lives with truth, clarity, and peace that the world can’t offer.
• Check your motives - obedience flows from love, not fear.
• Trust God’s design - His commands come from care, not control.
• Choose the hard right - obedience often costs in the moment but pays over time.
• Walk consistently - faithfulness in small things builds a strong life.
Prayer for the week:
Lord, Help me trust Your commands and walk in them with confidence and joy. Amen.
