Reflection:
We live in a world that thrives on comparison, followers, success, status. It's tempting to measure our worth by our wins, or to let pride sneak in when things are going well. But Paul flips that mindset upside down. He reminds us that the only thing worth boasting about is the Cross, what Christ has done, not what we’ve done.
Boasting in the Lord means redirecting the glory. It’s not that we hide our gifts or downplay what we’ve worked for, it’s that we recognize the true source of it all. Every success is a platform to reflect His goodness, not our greatness.
Motivational Thought:
In golf, a good round can make you feel like a champion. But the glory fades, and the scorecard gets tossed. What lasts is how you carried yourself and Who you pointed to. Boast less in the birdies, and more in the grace that lets you play at all. Every swing is a chance to give God glory.
