Scripture:
Isaiah 55:8–9
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Reflection:
We love to plan. We map out our goals, anticipate outcomes, and brace ourselves for what we think is coming next. But when things don’t unfold how we expected, it’s easy to question God or doubt His timing. Isaiah reminds us that God's ways aren't just different, they're higher. What feels like a setback might actually be a setup. What looks like silence might be God orchestrating something we can't yet see.
Trusting God’s plan doesn't mean understanding every twist, it means leaning into the One who sees the whole picture.
Motivational Thought:
In golf, you don’t always get the bounce you hoped for, but sometimes it lands in a better spot than you imagined. Life’s the same way. Trust God’s hands more than your own swing. He sees the full course, beginning to end.
